Trains Rousseau
Trains Rousseau was a French model-railway maker established in 1984 by Baguelin and Rousseau. The company produced a small range of French railway wagons, including OCEM 19 and TP Armistice types such as stake wagons, open wagons and tank wagons. Models were offered as kits or assembled. Production stopped around 1990, and L’Aiguilleur later sold the remaining stock.

The story of Trains Rousseau
Trains Rousseau was founded in 1984 in Romainville, Seine-Saint-Denis, by Baguelin and Rousseau, described in a specialist French model-railway history as former Tram technicians. Tram had taken over France Trains’ tools and machinery after that maker stopped production around 1981, and produced some former France Trains models before closing after a few months.
Trains Rousseau made several hundred wagons, including OCEM 19 and TP Armistice types: stake wagons, open wagons and tank wagons. They were sold as kits or assembled models. Production stopped around 1990 under the pressure of costs and a weak market. L’Aiguilleur subsequently sold off the remaining stock, without continuing production.
