StromBecker
Description
StromBecker, synonymous with high-quality, precision-molded, wooden toy models, dominated the toy industry from the mid-193s to the late 196s. Renowned for its intricately detailed designs, StromBecker catered to the domains of aviation, naval, and automotive miniatures, capturing the interests of both kids and matured collectors. The brand won hearts with its remarkable level of detail, teaching generations the joy of assembling and painting their own toys.
StromBecker's journey began in 1876 with The Dowst Brothers Company, originally producing type set and linotype machines' parts. By the 193s, Theodore Dowst, the son of one of the founders, conceived and introduced a range of miniature toys under the brand name StromBecker. Being innovative, StromBecker started producing plastic models by 195s to stay in the game against the rising popularity of plastic toys, but eventually concluded its operations in 1963 after being sold to Testor.
