Šebela
Description
Czech producer of 0 gauge trains
Karel Šebela (21 April 1912- 10 August 2002) started making electric 0 gauge trains in Brno in 1946. He produced a 2-4-2 loco with eight-wheel tender which was sold together with two eight-wheel coaches, based upon the real-life all-steel express coaches of the Czechoslovakian railways. These coaches were finished in licht green, dark green and maroon. There also was some eight-wheeled goods stock: a tank wagon in yellow, lettered for Shell, an open wagon in brown and a crane wagon with a grey crane house with a red roof. All rolling stock was hand-painted and fitted with copies of the Märklin Fix coupling. Also known is a four-wheel side-tipping wagon, but it is uncertain whether any other four-wheel stock was made. Apparently production ended in 1954.
