Serving as the oldest toy piano manufacturer in the world, Schoenhut Piano Company is renowned for its handcrafted, high-quality, musical toys. This toy brand garnered fame through its vibrant array of children's pianos, but its collection also extends to other types of musical toys such as thumb pianos, harps, and drums. The brand’s products, celebrated for their durability and fine craftsmanship, are nothing less than functional works of art that allow children to discover the joy of music.

Albert Schoenhut, a third-generation German toy-maker, established Schoenhut Piano Company in Philadelphia, USA in 1872. The roots of the company sprouted when Schoenhut started creating toy pianos designed to bear a striking resemblance to actual stringed pianos. Two interesting historical highlights are the creation of the unique chime-like sound, patented in 1912, which set Schoenhut’s toy pianos apart from competitors. Second, during the World War II era, the company was requisitioned to manufacture parts for the war efforts. Over the years, the company has traversed numerous ups and downs, including the Great Depression and changing ownership, reflecting its resilience and tenacity.
