Sablon
Sablon was a Belgian maker of die-cast model vehicles based in Brussels. It introduced a range of 1:43 scale cars in 1968, including models of BMW, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Lamborghini and NSU vehicles, and later made Mercedes trucks. Sablon also supplied models for chocolate promotions and for other toy makers. Its cars are known for a deterioration problem in which the tyre material reacted with plastic wheel hubs.
