An interesting fact about Piko is that its name originates from the first letters of two words - PIoneer and KOnstruktion. Throughout its history, Piko has experienced ups and downs, nationalizations, privatizations and was even used as an embargo tool during the Cold War. Today, it has emerged as one of the leading model train manufacturers in the world.
