The story of Darstaed
Since the humble start in 1946, Darstaed became a favored name among vintage model train enthusiasts. The business was launched by an inventive Dutchman named André Darstaed, shuffled between various owners through its vibrant existence, and has revived like a phoenix each time. The brand’s major shift came in the late 199s when tower-collector Ellis Clark breathed new life into it. He sparked boom years for the company by building high-quality remakes of vintage designs that encompassed the discerning charm of the original models. From the first tin-plate wagons to current die-cast and injection-molded models, it's been a remarkable ride, quite like a captivating tale shaping up right on railway tracks!
