From ca. 1945 – ca. 1955 Augusto Caffarel, an artisan living at Calle Arcos de Colominas, No. 1, Barcelona, produced wooden stations, houses, level crossings and buffer stops, which are often confused with Manamo products. He also made a limited number of hand painted wooden freight wagons, fitted on Paya chassis and wheels. Known are a box van, a low sided wagon, a high sided wagon, and a wagon loaded with wooden wine barrels. He also produced plans for electric 0 gauge layouts with automatic signalling, which he even patented, and also made a number of small wooden trucks and cars.
