Brawa is a prominent German brand specializing in high-quality model trains, accessories, and related products. Established in 1948 by Artur Braun in Waiblingen, Germany, the company initially focused on distributing model trains from other manufacturers before branching out to produce its own lines of lighting and model accessories. Over the years, Brawa gained a reputation for its detailed and innovative designs, particularly in the H0 (1:87), N (1:160), and IIm (G scale) markets.

Brawa's growth and diversification took a major leap in the early 1960s when it acquired motorized trolleybus and ski lift models from Eheim, expanding its offerings into new areas of model construction. In 1971, the company further established Braunkabel GmbH to manufacture cables for model construction.
