French manufacturer of toy trains for mainly 0 gauge. Most models are very detailed, which showed a lot of craftmanship. During a very short period at the end of their production BLZ introduced their 00 gauge system, called "Scellé Bell".
The story of BLZ started with their famous 1B1 electric loco with its "american looks". It seemed to be an attractive model in those days. It is, however, also the odd one out compared with the rest of the range of models, which are detailed and not toy-like.
One of the founders of BLZ, Mr. Aldo Zedda, already had some experience in the toy train business: he had worked for Charles Rossignol (CR).
