Barlux
Barlux was an Italian toy maker based in Bologna, active from 1972 to 1979. It produced die-cast model vehicles, including Fiat Campagnola four-wheel-drive vehicles, Fiat trucks, tractors and accessories. Its range also included smaller cars, racing cars and motorcycles. Barlux began as a toy importer and moved into local production within a few years. Its products appeared in several scales, including 1:25 Campagnolas, 1:35 trucks and 1:28 tractors.

The story of Barlux
Barlux was founded in Bologna in 1972 by Luciano Baravelli, a toy importer specialising in Japanese toys. Within a few years, the company began producing toys locally, including die-cast model vehicles. Its best-known range comprised Fiat Campagnola four-wheel-drive vehicles in several liveries. Barlux also made Fiat trucks, tractors and accessories, alongside smaller cars, racing cars and motorcycles. The models covered several scales: Campagnolas at 1:25, trucks at 1:35 and tractors and accessories at 1:28. A motorcycle range, Serie Jet, included nine models at 1:32, spanning touring, racing, motocross and custom styles. Barlux model production ended in 1979. The tooling was then transferred to SCAME-MASTAF, and some Barlux vehicle tooling later appeared in models produced under the Giodi name from 1981.
