This could be the title for this little object. Ofcourse, at the time this tinplate toy was manufactured there was no movie with this title (1981). Although, an exact date of this toy is hard to give. It could be 1920s or even earlier. As there is no reference, sign, logo or whatsoever on this telephone booth it remains a guess of the manufacturer’s name. Was it Ernst Plank? If so, is there anybody who can show a catalogue reference? The only reference we do have is a shop stamp and not an unimportant one.Josef Kober Toy Shop (Spielwarengeschäft) was the most famous toy shop in Austria – Vienna. Already established in 1868 as a toy store in the inner heart of Vienna near the famous Stephansdom. After 147 years in 2019 this toy store went bankrupt. What a pity!
