Preiser Oxen Cart “Auswandererwagen” – Handcarved Wooden Toy
For collectors of handmade wooden toy figures by Preiser (Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany), this oxen cart is an absolute highlight. Sold for €2,000, this piece was passed on to a serious collector and longstanding client of our House. In German, this impressive cart was called “Auswandererwagen 19. Jahrhundert” which refers to a settlers cart from the 19th century in the United States. Of course, we have kept one example for the KallisToys Museum Collection.
