Jensen FF: four-wheel drive in a luxury coupé

In 1966, the Jensen FF combined four-wheel drive with Dunlop’s Maxaret anti-lock braking system. Those initials stood for Ferguson Formula, the name behind its four-wheel-drive arrangement.

It shared its broad shape with the Interceptor, but the full-size FF needed extra length to accommodate the technology. The British Motor Museum records a production total of just 320 cars over five years.

Dinky offered its own Jensen FF as no. 188. Our yellow example has a black interior, a large curved rear window and racing number 7 on the doors.
