Former Czechoslavakia boasted of a number of 0 gauge tinplate train manufacturers, of which Merkur probably is best known. Almost forgotten however is Karel Šebela who started making electric 0 gauge trains in 1946. He produced a 2-4-2 loco with eight-wheel tender, bogie coaches finished in light geen, dark green and maroon and some bogie goods wagons: an open wagon in brown, a crane wagon with a grey crane house with a red roof and this tank wagon in yellow and lettered for Shell. All rolling stock was hand-painted and fitted with copies of the Märklin Fix coupling. It is uncertain when production ended: some sources say Sebela only made trains for a couple of years, others that production ended in 1954.
