Spanish producer of 0 gauge trains.

Ribas was one of the artisans in Barcelona producing tinplate 0 gauge trains. The Railway Museum in Madrid has an 0 gauge model of the so-called  Tren del Centenario, made by Ribas, a tinsmith, in 1948 to commemorate the first train in Spain in 1848. Of this model, consisting of a  2-2-2 loco made of brass and wood, a tender and three coaches made of tinplate, probably only a few were made. The regular production of 0 gauge trains consisted of 4-wheel goods wagons made of tinplate, of which are known tankwagons lettered for Campsa and for Gas-Oil, flat wagons loaded with a jeep, a cannon and a search light, a covered wagon, a wagon with two wine barrels, stake cars loaded with timber and with logs and a wagon carrying a Pirelli cable drum. As for accessories, a level crossing is known.

How long Ribas made these wagons is unknown; according to a Spanish website, production was short, so ended probably in the early 1950s.
