MONOS is one of those manufacturers where there is little to none known. The bodies of the passenger coaches do have some resemblance with those manufactured by Max KRAFT (Switzerland). Hence, there is a theory that MONOS could also be a Swiss manufacturer.

All models known do bear the same red stamp on the chassis, which reads "Handmuster Manufaktur" (handmade manufacturing product). Those words could refer to the manufacturers name: MONOS could be read as "unique".

The production period is another unknown. It is written 1950, but we do not have any reference to verify this date.

As a matter of fact, those models do not show up often or better: they show up almost never.
