Tri-ang Toys is a respected British toy brand, famed for its wide range of products spanning model railways, teddy bears, pedal cars, dolls' houses and miniature models. This brand is known for its high standard of manufacturing and the intricate attention to detail which has made its toys collectors' items.

The brand was founded in 1850 by George and Joseph Lines who started out making wooden toys. In 1921, after the founders' deaths, their three sons took over the business and renamed it Lines Bros Ltd., which made toys under the Tri-Ang Toys brand name. Their signature three-sided logo represented the three brothers working in unity. In 1946, they capitalized on post-war prosperity with one of their most popular products, the Tri-ang model railway. Controversially, in the late 60s, the company went into liquidation and the brand was acquired by Rovex Industries. However, the legacy of Tri-ang Toys was so strong that the new owners continued under the Tri-ang name until the early 70s.
