Merker + Fischer (M+F) was a German model-railway maker specializing in small-run locomotive and passenger-car kits, chiefly in H0, along with detail parts for improving ready-made models. Its kits used brass and other metal, as well as combinations of metal and plastic. The range included steam and electric locomotives and railcars, with prototypes from German and Swiss railway practice. From 1979–80 the company also offered Pola Maxi plastic kits in 0 gauge, later adding further plastic kits.
