Kuramochi is an illustrious Japanese brand that pieces together an intriguing array of toys, with a predominant focus on tin toys and miniature models. What makes this brand unique is their creation of captivating mechanical tin toys, all of which range from the classic cars to enchanting robots. Typically crafted from tinplate, these toys  imbued with an extraordinary blend of craftsmanship and imagination  promised a seamless blend of form, function, and delightful aesthetics.

Formally established in 1915, Kuramochi is based in Tokyo, Japan. The company's individualistic and inspiring journey began under the leadership of Kuramochi Yoshitsugu and his friend Inoue Masudaya. Priding themselves on their remarkable craftsmanship, together they carved out an exceptional brand identity for Kuramochi. During the 193s, the company saw a dramatic increase in toy exporting to the West. One of the more notable facts about Kuramochi's creations is the incorporation of the classic 'CK' or 'CRAGSTAN' emblems in their toys, a feature that many vintage toy enthusiasts would recognize and appreciate.
