Goodee Toys
Description
Goodee Toys was a prolific toy brand that produced a wide range of miniature and scaled die cast toys, such as cars, trucks, and a variety of other vehicles. The brand was well-loved for its detailed designs, vibrant colors and innovative marketing strategies. Coming across a Goodee Toy can make collectors' eyes widen and hearts race as these toys hold a special place in vintage toy history.
Established in the heart of the depression, in 1932, in the USA, Goodee Toys was a division of the iconic American company called Goodee World Corporation. They started off manufacturing products that were not toys, but soon found a niche in creating quality die cast toys. During World War II when there was a scarcity of metal, they switched to wooden toys for a short period of time. After the war, the company returned to die casting, and the toys from this period are particularly sought after by collectors due to their rarity. The company ceased operations in 195, ending a remarkable era of toy production. An interesting fact about Goodee Toys was that the company was owned by the iconic toy manufacturer Gabriel, the man behind the famous Lone Ranger figures.
