The story of AMD
AMD launched its gorgeous line of miniature dollhouses in the heart of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, back in the year 1982. The brand was born out of a deep, enduring passion for dollhouses, a labour of love, and a keen eye for minute detailing by its trailblazing founder, Alice Drewsen. Did you know that Alice personally apprenticed under a master toymaker for five intense years before launching AMD? Her hard work certainly paid off, as evident in her breathtaking designs which continue to form an integral part of many collectors' prized possessions.
